Konnyaku
I made these babies for a gathering with a bunch of secondary school mates. One of them came back from USA for the first time in over a decade. She has 2 kids, and I thought, why not make some jelly? These are easy to make, high in fiber and low in calories. I even omitted the colouring. Of course I didn't just bring the konnyaku, that will be a little too cheap wouldn't it? I bought bak kwa! Everyone loves bak kwa right?
Being the queen of excess, of course there was quite a bit left. There is a reason why I used lychees. The Husband loves lychees! I love lychees too. The floral taste is very refreshing, especially so in cold and crunchy konnyaku jellies!
