Day 2 - Jiu Fen & Danshui

Took a day trip out of Taipei city to visit Jiu Fen and Danshui. Jiu Fen inspired the set of Spirited Away. It is indeed pretty quaint and charming. I like it there. When we got to Danshui, we didn't have much day light left. Still it was fun just walking around the port town.

We went to see the changing of the guards and some famous hotel first before setting out. I think we used the hotel as a toilet stop. Ooops.

Beef noodles in JiuFen. How i miss the beef noodles in Taiwan! We are so greedy, when the stall is full, we can just stand outside and eat.

Jiu Fen is full of teahouses that have superb views. We were at this one for quite a while.

Danshui. Next time I will visit the place earlier and have more time to explore. Such a pity.

Dinner back in the city. We had Italian. It was a nice restuarant with very nice prices too. This is one of the rare photos of just the 2 of us. I can't remember the last photo we took as a couple!
