Tis a Sign

You know how the saying goes - it is written in the stars?

Well, I kinda signed up as a member on theknot.com some many moons back. well, it is a wedding webbie and i wanted to view some of the stuff, and i had to be a member to view them, so i signed up. one of the fields require me to put in my wedding date. and guess what date i entered??? you will not believe it, 17 december 2006! Beat that! what a coincidence! Maybe it is meant to be that date afterall! I was curious what date i set since i have been going thru bridal sites so often now, what a pleasant surprise!

WOAH

We have managed to get some stuff done, despite the both of us being quite anal with some stuff. I have engaged my photographer, signed up with ted collection for my gowns, oh, and also my make up artiste! Pretty productive eh??? I am very impressed with myself too!

All I need now is a florist (easy peasy!) a wine supplier, car rental, a song list(this is a HUGE HEADACHE), tailor for my dear hubby to be, and er that is more or less done.

I am seriously thinking that i am overly ambitious with my plans of making my own invitation cards and ring pillow! HAHAHAHA! On top of that, I am flirting with the idea of doing my own flower arrangement for dinner as well!

Flat Buying

We have finally settled on an apartment both of us liked and so made an offer. Guess what? We got it! Yep! We are going to have a place of our own soon!

Then panic sets in! Al the paperwork! The renovation! oh and the wedding! THE WEDDING! We didn't plan at all to get married this year at all. Oh my, and to think that we are going to have to have a wedding, and have our place ready all by the end of the year! I am pretty anal about some stuff so I think that I will be tired til the end of 2006! I want to make my own cards, even my own ang pow box! oh, and wedding favours and place cards and table numbers!

I will pop over to Kinokuniya to look at their wedding planners (not not the person wedding planner, the book wedding planner!) Think I will seriously need one. Ha! I dunno how relevant those ang mo wedding planners will be though...

And in the midst of all this madness, more insanity will follow - like house renovation!

I am secretly excited and over the moon though! I seriously can't wait to start on all that. Actually we have started looking for a dinner place and a place to hold the solemnisation.
