Day 7- Flower Expo

How many adults does it take to keep and eye on on a baby on a swing?

The Floral Expo in Taipei is a big waste of time. Nothing special and really, oh so boring. She had fun at the playground and wide open spaces for her to run about.

\
The Expo outing was cut really short and we had some time on our hands. The rest did some last minute shopping and we headed to a cafe to have some coffee and something else to eat. The Little One is exhausted!
The madness that was Shilin. It isn't that bad since it was a weekeday, can't imagine how bad it would be if it was a Friday or Saturday night. She is showing her displeasure here. She wanted to run about but we couldn't let her do so because it was really too crowded.
We did get to NonZero after all! Missing the risotto already!

Day 6 - Back in Taipei

The view from our room is pretty decent. Just disregard all the construction that is going on just outside the window and look at the Pacific ocean. We had breakfast and went for a stroll near the beach. The windy was too strong for the baby's liking and so we abandon the idea of cycing went back to the room for a snooze before checking out. All except Nick went cycling. It was tough cycling in that kinda wind and someone had a fall!

This little card holder was given to The Little One at the lunch place we went to. Too bad the cafe we wanted to go to was closed! We could just look in forlornly.

Her aunt keeping her busy on the train. She is such a handful, they all decided to pretend to sleep, leaving me to my own devices.

Day 5 - Hualien and Taroko Gorge

Took a train to Hualien from Taipei. Was pretty scenic half the time.
Little monster getting restless in the train.

Yes! I can't resist and bought a Mai tai carrier!

Taroko Gorge. Since we didn't have the luxury of time, we hired a cab and got driven around the gorge really fast. Jumping from one sigh to another. I do wish it was at a more leisure speed.

Our attempt at trying to set the lantern was an epic failure. Too embarrass to talk about it anymore here. It was really windy (so you can guess why it is an epic failure) and cold, The Little One and I both have runny noses for a few days.

Day 4 Mao Kong

Her fed up face while waiting for the gondola up to Mao Kong. It is quite nice, but too crowded for my liking. Nice views, nice tea houses and the gondola trip up was scenic too.
Someone is so dead tired. Think he did laundry at the hotel til like 4am. Hahahahaha! The tea house we went to. I like the place.

Beef noodles! The noodles at this shop is out of this world! They have this steamed rice with rib, also very shiokadoos. See, The Husband is really happy and everyone is just eating and not talking.

Eating guava and shopping for shoes

Day 3
